In an effort to celebrate its 10th anniversary, WWE will launch WWE: 2K18 in September 2018.

According to WWE.com, the launch of WWE 2.0 will be marked by the addition of a brand new, multi-game package, as well as a brand-new, premium content package for fans that will be exclusive to the WWE 2k18 launch.WWE 2.x will also include a brand fresh storyline, as it was never meant to be the only game in the franchise, WWE 2, and it will feature brand new characters, events and content.

In addition, fans will be able to enjoy WWE 2’s first ever WrestleMania weekend.

WWE 2 will feature two different live event nights and two brand new match types.

WWE’s brand new live event will be WWE NXT TakeOver: Orlando, which will air on Friday, August 26 and feature a brand spankin new main event featuring Samoa Joe vs. Kevin Owens.

WWE NXT takes place at the Orlando International Airport in Orlando, Florida, and will air live on WatchESPN and on Watch ABC beginning at 9:00 a.m.

WWE TakeOver Orlando is the brand new weekly event that features live matches and matches from the upcoming WWE WrestleMania, which kicks off the WWE SummerSlam 2018 on Sunday, July 22.
